How to Connect NexLev MCP to Claude or ChatGPT

What the 60+ NexLev MCP Tools Actually Cover

NexLev markets the server as 60+ tools. The rate-limit table on its MCP page lists nine categories that add up to 68 rows, which is why the marketing uses a plus sign instead of a fixed number. Here is what each category does.

Two of those categories have no equivalent anywhere else. The three monetization tools return monetization status, a revenue estimate, and an RPM prediction. The fourteen personal channel analytics tools point at a channel you own once you connect it. Every other YouTube MCP server, including ours, is competitor research only.

What is missing is keyword data. There is no tool that returns monthly YouTube search volumes for a keyword. If title and topic planning is the job, that gap matters, and it is the one thing the OutlierKit MCP server covers that NexLev does not.

Every NexLev MCP Tool Has Its Own Daily Quota

This is the part that changes how you work, so it is worth reading closely. NexLev does not charge credits per call. Instead, each tool carries a quota measured in calls per user per 24 hours, and the number depends on your tier. When one tool runs out, that tool stops answering until its clock resets, even if every other tool still has calls left. Here are the nine channel discovery quotas NexLev publishes.

Look at the similar channels row. Five calls a day on Free, and still only 30 a day on Pro. Mapping a competitive set is exactly the job that wants dozens of those calls in one sitting. An agency doing a client audit can hit that ceiling before lunch and then wait a day to finish. That is the trade for a server that costs nothing today.

A flat credit model behaves differently under the same load. On the OutlierKit MCP server every tool costs 1 credit, the live outlier refresh costs 5, and there are no per-tool or per-day limits at all. A Pro plan carries 500 credits a month, and if a project eats them, top-ups are $10 per 100 credits. You decide where the month goes instead of the tool deciding for you.

Is NexLev MCP Free? What It Costs

NexLev MCP is free right now. Its MCP page says the server is free for a limited time and free for all NexLev accounts, with no credit card required. That is a real offer and worth taking while it runs.

The honest problem is what comes next. NexLev has not published a price for the MCP server after the promo, and it has not published a price for anything else either. We checked the NexLev pricing page on 3 September 2026 from a United States connection. It names three products, Lite, Pro, and an API tier, and it describes the MCP quota levels as Lite Quota and Up to 5X of Lite Quota. It shows no dollar figure for any plan. The numbers only appear at checkout.

So the practical answer to what NexLev MCP costs is: nothing today, and an unknown amount later, on a plan whose price you cannot see before you sign up. If you are evaluating this for client work or a team budget, that is the risk to weigh. Every other YouTube MCP server we track publishes its plan prices in plain text.

Which Server Wins Which Job

Tool counts are a bad way to choose. Jobs are a good way. This is the split we would actually recommend, including the four jobs where NexLev is the better answer.

Nothing stops you from connecting both. Claude will pick a tool from whichever server fits the question, and the two data sets barely overlap. The one thing to watch is that Claude sees roughly seventy extra tool descriptions, which can make it slower to choose well on vague prompts. Naming the server in your prompt fixes that.

Should You Connect NexLev MCP?

Yes, while it is free. It costs you a minute and gives an AI assistant access to monetization and RPM data that is genuinely hard to get anywhere else. Just do not build a paid workflow on top of it until NexLev publishes a price.
