1of10 MCP Server: It Does Not Exist, and Here Is What to Connect Instead
People search for a 1of10 MCP server every week, which makes sense. 1of10 popularised outlier research, so wanting it inside Claude is the obvious next thought. The answer is short: there is no 1of10 MCP server, and no 1of10 API either. We checked again on 3 September 2026. This page shows exactly what we checked, what that rules out, and which connectors do the same job today.
The Short Version
1of10 MCP server: does not exist. 1of10.com/mcp returns a 404.
1of10 API: does not exist either. No docs page, no developer page, no integrations entry in the site navigation.
What that rules out: connecting 1of10 to Claude or ChatGPT, running its searches from an agent, and any automation that needs 1of10 data on a schedule.
What still works: the 1of10 web app and Chrome extension, used by hand.
Closest connector for the same job: the OutlierKit MCP server, which exposes a scored outlier index to Claude at 1 credit a call.
Does 1of10 Have an MCP Server?
No. 1of10 does not have an MCP server. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard that lets an AI assistant call a tool's data directly inside a chat. Three of 1of10's closest competitors have shipped one. 1of10 has not, and has not announced plans to.
There is also no public API, which matters more than it sounds. An MCP server is usually built on top of an API. When a product has neither, a connector is not a small piece of work waiting to happen. It is a whole platform layer that does not exist yet.
What We Checked, and When
Claims like this go stale, so here is the evidence rather than the assertion. Every row below was checked on 3 September 2026 from a United States connection.
| What we checked | Result | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 1of10.com/mcp | 404 Not Found | No MCP landing page, and no connector URL published anywhere. |
| 1of10.com/api | 404 Not Found | No public API product. |
| 1of10.com/docs | 404 Not Found | No developer documentation. |
| 1of10.com/developers | 404 Not Found | No developer programme. |
| The 1of10 site navigation | Features, Pricing, Blog, Consulting, Affiliate, Extension | No API, developer, or integrations entry of any kind. |
What 1of10 Offers Instead
1of10 is a good product for what it is. It is a web app and a Chrome extension for finding outlier videos, generating thumbnails, and writing titles, and it holds a 4.0 out of 5 rating on the Chrome Web Store. Its plans run from a free tier to Basic at $29 a month and Pro at $69 a month.
All of that is designed to be used by a person, in a browser. The extension in particular is the point of the product: you are on YouTube, you see a video, you check whether it outperformed. That is a workflow no MCP server replaces.

What Having No Connector Actually Costs You
If you only ever check one video at a time, nothing. The gap shows up the moment the research has more than one step.
- No agent can run the search. You cannot ask Claude to find the outliers in a niche and then keep reasoning about what it found. You run the search yourself and paste the output.
- Nothing chains together. Finding an outlier, pulling its transcript, reading its comments, and checking keyword demand is one prompt on a connected server. Here it is four manual steps across two tools.
- Nothing can be scheduled. Weekly client reports, niche monitoring, and any automation in n8n or a custom agent all need an API. There is not one.
- Copy and paste loses the data. Pasted results arrive as text without the underlying scores, so the assistant reasons over a screenshot of the answer instead of the answer.
If none of those matter to you, 1of10 is fine, and this page is not trying to talk you out of it. If several of them do, you need a tool with a connector.
Which YouTube Tools Do Have an MCP Server
Four YouTube research tools run first-party MCP servers as of September 2026. Here is the field at a glance, with a full review behind each one.
| Tool | MCP server | The short version |
|---|---|---|
| OutlierKit | Yes | 10 tools, 1 credit per call, no daily caps |
| NexLev | Yes | 60+ tools, free for now, per-tool daily quotas |
| vidIQ | Yes | Around 50 tools, 5 credits a call from a shared AI pool |
| TubeLab | Yes | 11 tools, 7 of them free, searches cost 2 to 5 credits |
| 1of10 | No | No MCP server and no public API |
TubeBuddy, ViewStats, and Social Blade have no first-party MCP server either. The full state of the field, including what each one offers instead, is in our roundup of every YouTube MCP server compared.

The Closest Replacement for 1of10 Inside Claude
We build OutlierKit, so treat this as a stated interest rather than a neutral verdict. The reason it is the closest match is specific: both tools are built on the same definition of an outlier. A video is interesting when it beats the baseline of the channel that published it, not when it has a big view count. That is the idea 1of10 popularised, and it is what our engine scores.
The difference is that our version is reachable from a chat. Paste https://outlierkit.com/mcp into Claude as a custom connector, sign in with Google, and Claude gets ten read-only tools: semantic search over the scored outlier index, a live refresh, channel search, similar channels matched on size, channel and video lookups, transcripts, comments, and keyword search volumes. Every call costs 1 credit. The live refresh costs 5. There are no per-tool or per-day limits.
In practice that turns the four manual steps above into one prompt. Find the outliers in this niche, pull the transcript of the top three, read what the comments asked for, and check whether anyone searches for it. The assistant does all of it and keeps the reasoning in one place.
The honest caveats. OutlierKit MCP needs a paid plan, Pro at $49 a month or higher, so it is not free the way NexLev MCP currently is. It has ten tools, not sixty. And it does not generate thumbnails or titles, which is a real part of what 1of10 sells.
If price is the deciding factor, look at TubeLab MCP at $29 a month with free lookups. If free matters more than predictability, look at NexLev MCP, as long as you can live with a daily cap on every tool.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does 1of10 have an MCP server?+
No. 1of10 has no MCP server. We checked 1of10.com/mcp on 3 September 2026 from a United States connection and it returns a 404. There is no connector URL published anywhere, and no announcement of one. If you have seen a 1of10 MCP listed on a third-party directory, it is not run by 1of10.
Does 1of10 have an API?+
No. 1of10.com/api, 1of10.com/docs, and 1of10.com/developers all return 404, checked 3 September 2026. The site navigation lists Features, Pricing, Blog, Consulting, Affiliate, and Extension, with no developer or integrations entry. So there is no supported way to pull 1of10 data into another tool, an agent, or an automation.
How do I use 1of10 with Claude or ChatGPT?+
You cannot connect them directly. Without an MCP server or an API, the only route is manual: run the search in 1of10, export or copy the results, and paste them into the chat. That works for a one-off, and it stops working the moment you want the assistant to run the search itself or repeat it weekly.
What is the closest alternative to 1of10 that works in Claude?+
The OutlierKit MCP server is the closest match, because both tools are built around the same idea: finding videos that beat the baseline of the channel that published them. OutlierKit exposes that outlier index to Claude through ten read-only tools at a flat 1 credit per call. TubeLab MCP and NexLev MCP are also real options, with different strengths and different metering.
Will 1of10 add an MCP server?+
1of10 has not announced one. It is a reasonable thing for them to build, since three of their direct competitors already have one, but nothing is public as of September 2026. We re-check this page's claims when we update it, and the verification date is stated in every section.
Is there a third-party 1of10 MCP server?+
Nothing official, and nothing we would recommend. Any third-party server claiming to serve 1of10 data would be scraping a product with no public API, which makes it fragile and a poor foundation for real work. The same caution applies to third-party scraper connectors for other tools without APIs.
